Activating your card

A RevCard is a physical NFC card or sticker. Open the app, sign in, and tap Activate card. Hold the card against the top back of your iPhone; once it is read, the app asks for the reference code that came with it. If your device cannot read the tag, you can enter the card details by hand on the same screen.

Do not have a card yet? Write to us and we will get one to you.

Editing what people see

Open your card and go to Links. You can add links from ready-made templates — Instagram, LinkedIn, X, WhatsApp, Telegram, GitHub, portfolio, phone, email, address, Wi-Fi, IBAN — or add a custom one. Drag the handle to reorder them, and hide a link without deleting it whenever you want it off the page for a while.

Your name, title and photo come from Settings → Edit profile and appear on every card you own.

Changing how the card looks

Appearance holds the style presets, the colour themes, the card background, the font and the button style, plus a list or grid layout for your links. Everything previews live before you save.

Sharing without the card

Share / QR gives you a QR code for your card, a copy button for the link, and the iOS share sheet. The public link never changes — only the content behind it does — so a printed QR code or a written NFC tag keeps working after you edit your card.

Protecting sensitive links

Set a PIN on the card, then mark any link as PIN protected. Visitors see the link but have to enter the PIN before it opens. This is meant for things like an IBAN that you do not want exposed to everyone who taps the card.

Lost or stolen card

Open the card and choose Destroy card (lost/stolen). The public link is permanently deactivated and anyone who taps the card sees a deactivated page instead of your details. This cannot be undone and the card cannot be reactivated, so use it only when the card is really gone — then write to us for a replacement.

Account

Settings is where you change your password, switch the app language, and pick a light or dark theme. Forgot your password? Use Forgot your password? on the sign-in screen and we email you a reset link.

You can delete your account and everything in it from Settings → Delete account inside the app, or from revcard.co/delete-account.

Troubleshooting

  • The card is not being read. Hold it flat against the upper back of the phone and wait a second — that is where the NFC antenna sits. A thick case or a metal plate between the two will block it.
  • Someone sees old content. The card page is served fresh, but a browser that already has the page open needs a reload to show your latest edit.
  • A link opens the wrong app. Check the link value in the editor — phone links need a full number with country code, and social links expect a username, not a full URL.
